What We Do

A Full Range of
Maritime Management and Advisory Services

From the first evaluation of a vessel opportunity to active portfolio management and the eventual exit, LMP delivers every service a shipping investor needs under a single independent mission.

Six Service Pillars

Not every project needs every service. LMP scales its involvement to match the complexity, stage, and specific requirements of each client.

Service 01

Market Analysis &
Investment Modelling

Shipping is a cyclical market where entry timing, asset selection, and freight assumptions determine the majority of investment returns.

We build bespoke investment models for clients who are evaluating specific opportunities — stress-testing returns under multiple freight scenarios and incorporating actual technical and operating cost data from our existing fleet and network. Our analysis is prepared on instruction from the client, not offered as general investment advice.

Whether you bring an asset to us or we source one on your behalf, every opportunity receives the same level of analytical scrutiny.

Our modelling covers:

Freight market scenario analysis (base / bull / bear)
IRR, cash yield, and return-on-equity projections
Asset value sensitivity and exit scenario modelling
Sector and market research
Ongoing market intelligence for existing investors
Illustrative Simulation Output
Bear Scenario IRR 7.2%
Base Scenario IRR 14.8%
Bull Scenario IRR 22.4%
Key Model Inputs
• Vessel type & age
• Acquisition price
• Freight scenarios
• OPEX benchmarks
• Capital structure
• Exit assumptions

Illustrative figures for demonstration purposes only. Actual returns depend on market conditions, vessel performance, and asset selection.

Service 02

Vessel Acquisition &
Deal Origination

Identifying and securing the right maritime asset is the most consequential decision in a shipping investment.

We source vessel opportunities through an established network of shipbrokers, owners, and commercial counterparties across all major shipping segments. Every opportunity undergoes rigorous technical, commercial, and market analysis.

Vessel sourcing across primary and secondary markets
Full technical due diligence and condition assessment
Commercial due diligence with trading history, employment, earnings
Acquisition negotiation and sale & purchase documentation
MOA execution and delivery coordination
Pre-delivery survey management and flag/class transfer
02

What makes LMP's origination different?

Our origination is independent and model-driven. We evaluate every opportunity against our own analysis, not just market consensus.

03

Service 04

Marine Management &
Technical Oversight

After acquisition, the quality of ongoing marine management directly determines operations and vessel performance. We oversee the people who run your vessel. LMP monitors existing technical management teams against defined performance standards, intervening where necessary and reporting clearly to investors throughout.

We do not operate vessels ourselves, but we manage those who do. We appoint, monitor, and hold accountable the technical managers, pool operators, and commercial counterparties.

Technical manager appointment and monitoring
Drydock planning, budget approval, and execution oversight
Class and flag state compliance management
Insurance programme management
Vessel performance tracking and reporting
04

You should never need to speak to a class surveyor.

That is our job. LMP's project management team acts as the interface between your investment and the operational world, translating technical complexity into clear, actionable summaries for investors. When issues arise, we handle them.

"We act as your eyes and ears on every technical decision."
05

Business management, precisely executed to suit each investor's needs.

Norwegian SPVs carry defined corporate obligations. LMP handles every one — from board meetings and shareholder resolutions to tax filings and investor distributions. Nothing is missed; everything is documented.

Investors receive regular reporting covering financial performance, vessel operations, and market context.

Crisis Management &
Emergency Response

When an incident occurs, LMP can assist owners through our network and experience. We coordinate the right people, manage the response, and keep our clients informed throughout.

Beyond active incidents, we also assist shipowners and companies facing broader operational or financial challenges. Whether that is financing difficulties, technical underperformance, disputes with technical managers, chartering problems, restructuring, or distressed asset management.
